and the moment when we finally danced together in that perfect scene, everything seemed like it was falling into place. i had found my someone. i had finally found you.

it was like a still picture, my day. like i knew it was disappearing as it happened. it was like a photograph. a moment in time, to end all too soon.

i tried to tell you this. but you would not listen.

and then the moment was gone. and now i am alone.

i wish we were alive again.
