i want to be familiar with the way your lips curve when you’re planning something.
i want to be familiar with the colour of your eyes when you’re sad.
i want to be familiar with the way your arms feel around my waist at night.
i want to be familiar with the way your lips feel on mine after a day apart.
i want to be familiar with every single thing about you.

We can live like Jack and Sally if we want. Where you can always find me. And we’ll have Halloween on Christmas. And in the night we’ll wish this never ends.
and we sat side by side in silence, and yet it seemed like the whole world was screaming at us. it felt as if i was screaming at you and you were screaming at me but no words were coming out.
i am not sure what you were screaming at me that night.
but i was screaming ‘i love you’ at the top of my lungs, in my heart of hearts.
i wake up in the middle of the night and i am comforted by the fact that someone out there loves me. and i love them, too. they just may not know it yet. and neither may i.
